Did you know that 22% of job turnover were directly related to a lack of growth? Did you know that 25% of Millennial workers plan to leave in less than a year, and 44% within 2 years?

Research shows us that Millennial actually seek employers with #careerdevelopment and career pathing plans. Usually, with career development plans, we need to make sure we cover or create the three career plans: traditional, network, and a dual-career path where employees understand the opportunities in each path and how each of these paths will develop their capability (ATD, 2008). Don't forget to break the idea that #career development is only vertical; Lateral moves are a great way to build high-potential talent and it helps some employees reposition their career. Supporting employee moves out of the traditional job swim lane can help employee motivation and productivity. It can also contribute to an employee's career satisfaction.

Let's chat about how attention to career development helps you attract top staff and retain valued employees! #envisionhrconsulting #highimpacthr #talentdevelopment #careerpath
